Friends of HBT
Welcome to the Friends of Hurstbourne Tarrant Primary School section!
The Friends of Hurstbourne Tarrant CE Primary School raise money in order to help buy additional school equipment and subsidise school trips.
A committee of volunteers and teachers organise fundraising events throughout the year in order to help keep the cost of school trips down and provide valuable equipment that may otherwise not be available to the children.
Some items that have been purchased over the last couple of years are:
- 50% Coach Costs for every trip
- Christmas Presents for each class
- Theatre Visit (M and M Productions) - The Secret Garden
- Read and Write Inc resources
- Laptops and Chromebooks.
- Listen2me music lessons for the whole school
- Stationery for all the classes
- Air Conditioning for Autumn Class
- Revamp of Early Years outdoor learning area

We are always looking for volunteers to help run events and would love you to get in touch! Either contact the school office or a committee member in the playground!
Our biggest annual fundraising event is the Summer Fair. If you would like to help, have any skills or expertise that you think we could use or work for a company that can make donations or match funding we would love to hear from you!
